Le Domaine : Créer avec le vivant

The Estate: Crafting with Nature

Our vineyard extends across nearly 53 hectares in the heart of the Southern Rhône Valley, encompassing the appellations of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Lirac, Côtes du Rhône, as well as IGP Gard and Vin de France. More than 25 grape varieties are cultivated throughout the estate, reflecting both its remarkable ampelographic heritage and the diversity of its terroirs. This mosaic of soils, exposures, and varieties gives rise to wines of elegance, precision, and a profound sense of place.

In the cellar, every wine is crafted with equal measures of rigor and intuition. Gentle extraction methods, selective co-fermentations, and a constant pursuit of balance allow us to preserve the purity of the fruit while tempering the natural generosity of our Mediterranean climate. Rather than seeking excessive concentration, our philosophy is to capture freshness, harmony, and the unique identity of each cuvée.

At Clos du Mont-Olivet, every vintage is approached on its own terms. Harvest dates, grape selection, destemming, crushing, and blending decisions are adapted each year according to the character of the growing season and the expression of the fruit. This bespoke approach enables us to reveal, with authenticity and precision, both the personality of the grape varieties and the signature of our terroirs.

The Clos du Mont-Olivet style is defined by wines of sincerity, elegance, and longevity. Guided by balance, emotion, and a deep respect for place, our wines faithfully express the great terroirs of the Rhône Valley while remaining true to the identity of the estate.
