Terms and Conditions of Sale

1. Scope

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTC) govern all sales made on the Clos du Mont-Olivet website.

Any order implies unreserved acceptance of these GTC.

3. Products

The wines offered are from the estate's production.

Due to their nature:

  1. wines may show natural variations

  2. vintages may change depending on availability

  3. visuals are non-contractual

The customer acknowledges these specificities before any order.


4. Prices

Prices are indicated in euros (€), all taxes included (TTC).

Delivery costs are specified before order validation.

Clos du Mont-Olivet reserves the right to change its prices at any time.


5. Order

The order is considered final after:

  1. payment validation

  2. receipt of the confirmation email

The seller reserves the right to cancel any order in case of dispute or fraud.


6. Payment

Payments are secured via Shopify Payments or its partners.

Available payment methods are displayed at the time of order.


7. Delivery

Areas

France.

Clos du Mont-Olivet reserves the right to block any order in case of inconsistency between the selected area and the delivery department indicated.

Shipping

Shipments are handled by specialized carriers (UPS, GEODIS, SCHENKER or equivalent).

Delays

Delays are indicative and may vary.

The seller cannot be held responsible for delays attributable to the carrier.


8. Receipt – breakage – anomalies

Upon receipt, the customer must:

  1. check the condition of the package

  2. make reservations in case of a problem

Any claim must be made within 48 hours with photos.

Without reservations upon delivery, no refund guarantee can be applied.


9. Transfer of risks

Risks are transferred to the customer at the time of delivery.


10. Right of withdrawal

The customer has a period of 14 days.

Conditions:

  1. unopened products

  2. products in perfect condition

Return costs are at the customer's expense.


11. Sale of alcohol

The sale of alcohol is prohibited to minors.

Any order implies a declaration of legal age.


12. Liability

The seller cannot be held responsible for:

  1. improper storage

  2. inadequate preservation

  3. the natural evolution of the wine


13. Personal data

Data is used for:

  1. order processing

  2. customer relationship

It can be processed via Shopify Inc..

In accordance with the GDPR, the customer has a right of access, modification, and deletion.

14. Force majeure

The seller cannot be held responsible in case of unforeseen external events (strike, disaster, logistical blockage, etc.).


15. Applicable Law

These GTC are subject to French law.


16. Consumer Mediation
